Good morning.  There were eight bands competing on Saturday. Now it's down to just 2 bands that will compete in 2 weeks at the Strawberry Festival. Brenna won the draw yesterday after the finalists were announced and chose to go on second. I videotaped again yesterday. They played 3 original tunes. (Brenna wrote, sang, and played guitar on two of them, while my son played drums). The other original was Brian's. They closed with it yesterday. It's a driving rock tune with great guitar work! They are all thrilled! They played so well - so tight. They came back to the house again, watched the tape, talked, ate, and made plans for more material. I'll definitely let you know if/when they get the cd. Thanks.

Good morning. They played really well. There was a very professional company providing the sound system yesterday. "The XYZ Affair" made the Top 4 cut and are playing again today at the School of Rock. The sound guys recorded the whole show and are going to provide cd's.

Hi. My daughter's band is "Beating Up Gerber". My son is "fitz in stereo". For the past two weeks they've been collaborating in the basement with "From the cave" (a good guitarist and an excellent pianist) and my daughter's bass player. They're playing tomorrow at a local battle of the bands with two original tunes, a Dave Matthews cover (Too Much), The Killers cover (Mr. Brightside), and No Doubt (Hella Good). They rock!

thanks for all the exclamation points, dude! lol. no, seriously, the feedback is tremendously appreciated. and am working on expanding them, it's just that i cant actually sing for shit, so ... heh. i'm a little stuck there.
